Objective To analyze the characteristics of upright tilt test in the menopausal crowd
in order to knowing the function of The Autonomic Nervous System
and confirm the cause of patient discomfort. Methods Among 500 patiens that climacteric syndrome in Preliminary clinical diagnosis in our department from 40 to 65 years old. whom eliminate organic heart disease and Cerebrovascular diseaseand other diseases
select 476 cases doing upright tilt test. Analyze the characteristics of tilt test results
evaluate the autonomic nerve abnormality and confirm the cause of patient discomfort. Results The upright tilt test positive rate was 53.6%
the middle-aged and old female patients were greater significantly with men(62.7% vs. 37.3 %
p< 0.05). In upright tilt test positive patients
mainly for the vasovagal dizzy(80.4%)
followed by orthostatic hypotension(14.5%) and orthostatic tachycardia(2.7%)
orthostatic hypertension(2.4%). Female patients with vasovagal syncope were significantly higher than Male patients and were statistically significant(70.7% vs. 29.3%
p<0.05). Male orthostatic hypotension positive rate obvious difference with woman and statistically significant than women
(78.4% vs. 21.6 %
p<0.05). Conclusions Upright tilt testing has been clear about the menopause crowd autonomic nervous function state and distribution types
confirms the cause of patient discomfort discomfort
