Objective To observe the effects of clozapine on heart rate variability
toxicity and electrocardiogram in patients with schizophrenia. Methods Ninety patients with schizophrenia who were treated in the psychiatric department of our hospital from June 2018 to June 2019 were selected as the research objects. They were divided into routine group and intervention group by random number method
with 45 cases in each group. Patients in the routine group were given oral hydrochloric acid. Ziprasidone capsules. Patients in the intervention group took clozapine orally. After 12 weeks of t
reatment
ECG was used to observe abnormal ECG and heart rate variability
and the incidence of toxic effects during the medication was calculated. Results Compared with the conventional group
the incidence of sinus tachycardia and ST-T changes in the intervention group increased
and there was a gap(p>0.05)
and there was no gap in other ECG indicators(p>0.05); before treatment
the two groups There was no difference in the expression of PNN50
r MSSD
SDANN and SDNNI in patients with heart rate variability(p>0.05). After 12 weeks of treatment
the above indicators were different from those before treatment(p
<
0.05). There was no difference in the levels of the above indicators between the two groups of patients after treatment(p>0.05); the number of toxic effects in the routine group was 13 cases
with a probability of 28.88%
and the number of toxic effects in the intervention group was 26 cases
with a probability of 57.78%
and there was a gap(χ
2
=9.638
p=0.002). Conclusions Compared with ziprasidone hydrochloride
clozapine can improve the abnormal electrocardiogram of patients with schizophrenia
increase the toxicity
and have a smaller effect on heart rate variability.
