Objective To explore the application value of Holter electrocardiogram in the diagnosis and treatment of severe hand-foot-mouth disease(HFMD)
and to implement effective clinical intervention for early identification of children with HFMD. Methods A total of 150 children with HFMD
including 100 cases with mild HFMD and 50 cases with severe HFMD
were selected for retrospective analysis of the results of 24h Holter electrocardiogram
and the arrhythmia and heart rate variability were compared between the two groups. Results The incidence of 24-hour dynamic electrocardiogram rhythm rate in children with severe HAND-foot-mouth disease was significantly higher than that in the mild group
among which ventricular premature beats
atrial premature beats and atrioventricular block were the most common changes. Conclusions Children with severe HAND
foot and mouth disease may suffer from myocardial injury and cause a variety of arrhythmias. Timely dynamic electrocardiogram examination can timely and effectively detect arrhythmias
carry out effective early intervention
and prevent the occurrence of malignant arrhythmias.
