Objective To investigate the application value of surface electrocardiogram in the differential diagnosis of hypertensive left ventricular hypertrophy and hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. Methods Fifty patients with hypertensive left ventricular hypertrophy treated in our hospital from June 2017 to June 2019 were included in group A
and 45 patients with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy were included in group B. Both groups were subjected to surface electrocardiogram examination
and the body was analyzed. The application value of electrocardiogram in the differential diagnosis of hypertensive left ventricular hypertrophy and hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. Results The maximum QT interval(QTmax)
minimum QT interval(QTmin) and QT dispersion(QTd) of group A were lower than those of group B. The thickness of the left ventricular posterior wall
the left ventricular end-diastolic diameter and the left ventricular end-systolic diameter were all higher In group B
the rate of abnormal Q wave was significantly lower than that in group B
and the difference was statistically significant(p <0.05). Conclusions Surface electrocardiogram is effective in the differential diagnosis of hypertensive left ventricular hypertrophy and hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. The ECG dispersion
left ventricular posterior wall thickness
left ventricular end-diastolic diameter and left ventricular end-systolic diameter of patients with hypertensive left ventricular hypertrophy are better Such indicators and abnormal occurrence of Q waves are significantly different from hypertrophic cardiomyopathy.
