Objective To analyze the value of P wave level of electrocardiogram in predicting the recurrence of paroxysmal atrial fibrillation(AF) after radiofrequency catheter ablation(RFCA). Methods The clinical data of 92 patients with paroxysmal atrial fibrillation who completed RFCA treatment and follow-up in the first people’s Hospital of Zhumadian City from January 2018 to December 2019 were retrospectively analyzed. The recurrence of atrial fibrillation within one year after RFCA was statistically analyzed
and the P wave level of electrocardiogram of all patients was collected to analyze the value of P wave level of electrocardiogram in predicting the recurrence of atrial fibrillation in patients with paroxysmal atrial fibrillation after RFCA. Results Among the 92 patients with paroxysmal atrial fibrillation
25 patients relapsed after RFCA treatment
the recurrence rate was 27.17%; Pmax and PD in the recurrence group were higher than those in the non recurrence group
the difference was statistically significant(p<0.05); there was no significant difference in other data between the groups(p >0.05); the receiver operating curve(ROC) was drawn
the results showed that Pmax and PD levels alone and combined predicted paroxysmal atrial fibrillation The AUC of AF recurrence after RFCA were 0.812
0.849 and 0.879
respectively. All of them had a certain predictive power
and the combined predictive power was the best. Conclusions The levels of Pmax and PD in ECG P wave parameters have certain predictive value for AF recurrence after RFCA in patients with paroxysmal AF.the high expression of Pmax and PD may indicate the high risk of AF recurrence after RFCA.
