Objective To investigate the common causes

electrocardiography（ECG） characteristics and differential diagnosis of pseudo-ventricular pre-excitation. Methods The ECG and clinical characteristics of 12 cases of pseudo-ventricular pre-excitation were analyzed and discussed. Results Pseudo-ventricular pre-excitation could be observed in the following situations:（1）Ventricular excitation;（2）Ventricular fusion wave;（3）Short PR interval and interventricular block;（4）Interatrial block;（5）Incomplete left bundle branch block;（6）Some clinical heart disease;（7）Unknown reasons

etc. Pseudo-ventricular pre-excitation can be identified by using conventional electrocardiogram and Holter

and in some patients

intracardiac electrophysiological test is necessary. Conclusions（1）Pseudo-ventricular pre-excitation can be seen in many cardiac diseases;（2） Regular ECG and Holter are useful to identify pseudo-ventricular pre-excitation;（3） We should pay attention to the existence of pseudo-ventricular pre-excitation in our clinical practice to prevent the potential misdiagnosis.
