Objective To investigate the detection of atrial fibrillation in patients with routine electrocardiogram(ECG) examination
analyze the incidence rate of atrial fibrillation in different ages and the characteristics of ECG.Methods A retrospective analysis of 126276 patients who underwent routine electrocardiogram examination in electrocardiogram room from 2017 to December 2020
was divided into 7 groups by age
and the detection rate of atrial fibrillation in all age groups was analyzed. Results The detection rate was 3.46% in male and 3.45% in female
and the detection rate was the highest in group over 80 years old
With the increase of age
the detection rate increased
and the difference was statistically significant(p<0.05). Among them
the most common ECG phenomenon was st or(and) T wave abnormality
followed by fast ventricular rate type
incomplete right bundle branch block and ventricular premature beat. Conclusions Routine ECG is a simple and convenient detection technology for atrial fibrillation and other abnormal ECG phenomena
