Objective To study the different hemodynamic reaction patterns displasyed over the course of basic head-up tilt table tests in clinic patients. Methods Total 443 patients underwent basic head-up tilt table test

who were fasting more than 4 hours. The changes of blood pressure and heart rate were recorded. Results Among 443 patients who took the basic HUTT tests

312 patients（70%）had negative reactions

66 patients（15%） were orthostatic hypotension（OH）

14 patients（3%）had vasovagal responses

15 patients（4%） were orthostatic tachycardia syndrome

36 patients were orthostatic hypertension. Among OH patients

24 patients（36%） were classical type of OH

29 patients（44%）were delayed OH

8 patients（12%） were initial OH

and 5 patients（8%） were progressive type of OH.Conclusions There are different hemodynamic reaction patterns in basic head-up tilt table tests. With careful observation in the different hemodynamic reactions in orthostatic hypotension

we can estimate the autonomic function in cardiology.
