Basic Information

Journal of Clinical Electrocardiology was founded in 1992 under the initiative of Director Zhang Yazhai from the First Affiliated Hospital of University of Science and Technology of China (Anhui Provincial Hospital), who served as the inaugural Editor-in-Chief. The journal is supervised by the Anhui Provincial Health Commission and sponsored by the First Affiliated Hospital of University of Science and Technology of China (Anhui Provincial Hospital).

In accordance with the journal administration requirements issued by higher competent authorities, the sponsor — the First Affiliated Hospital of University of Science and Technology of China (Anhui Provincial Hospital) — clarified in June 2025 that the journal shall operate under the discipline affiliation mechanism. Accordingly, Journal of Clinical Electrocardiology is now affiliated with the Department of Electrocardiology. The department chair serves as the Editor-in-Chief and assumes primary responsibility for the journal’s operations.

The journal is publicly distributed both domestically and internationally.
