1. Manuscript Requirements

1.1 Academic Quality

All manuscripts must be scientific, innovative, instructive, and practical. They should feature clear arguments with reliable and sufficient data, a rigorous logical structure with prominent key points, concise wording, well-designed experiments, accurate statistical analysis, and standardized formatting.

1.2 Title

Titles must be accurate and concise, reflecting the core content of the manuscript.

· Chinese titles: Limited to 20 Chinese characters, with no subtitles.

· English titles: Must be consistent in meaning with the Chinese version

1.3 Authors and Affiliations

· Author names must be listed in the final order upon submission.

· Institutional affiliations and postal codes should be annotated at the bottom left of the first page.

· A brief introduction of the first author is required, including name, main research interests, and email address.

· For manuscripts with a corresponding author, please clearly indicate their name, research interests, and email address separately.

1.4 Abstract

Original articles: Structured abstracts comprising four sections — Objective, Methods, Results, and Conclusion — are required. These should be written in the third person and presented as a single paragraph. Abstracts must not contain figures, tables, chemical formulas, unrecognized abbreviations, or citations. Chinese abstracts should not exceed 400 words.

Review articles: Indicative (descriptive) abstracts are acceptable.

English abstract: Must correspond to the Chinese version in content and meaning. The English abstract should include:

· The full English title (capitalize the first letter of each major word)

· All author names in Pinyin format: surname in full uppercase + given name with only the first letter capitalized

· Institutional affiliation, city, and postal code

Example: ZHANG Jiamin, CHEN Heping, XIANG Dong, et al. Shanghai Blood Center, Shanghai 200051, China.

1.5 Keywords

· Three to eight keywords are required to represent the core theme of the manuscript.

· Standard terms from the 2006 Chinese Medical Subject Headings (MeSH) (CD-ROM version) published by the Institute of Medical Information of the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences are preferred. Newly emerging disciplinary and technical terms not included in the official thesaurus are also acceptable.

· English keywords must correspond to the Chinese keywords, with the first letter of each keyword capitalized. Keywords should be separated by two spaces.

1.6 Main Text

1.6.1 Introduction

Briefly state the research background, objectives, significance, methods, and scope in the third person. The heading "Introduction" may be omitted.

1.6.2 Materials and Methods

Provide detailed descriptions of research subjects and experimental procedures to ensure reproducibility. Briefly cite and describe established but less familiar methods; elaborate thoroughly on innovative or substantially modified methods. Include reagent batch numbers, instrument model specifications, and manufacturer information.

1.6.3 Results

Present results in a logical order. Avoid repetitive listing of all data from tables and figures; only summarize and highlight key findings in textual descriptions.

1.6.4 Discussion

Focus on novel and significant findings and the corresponding conclusions. Do not repeat data or content already described in the Introduction and Results sections.

1.7 Medical Nomenclature

· Use standardized medical terms approved by the National Committee for Terms in Sciences and Technologies (refer to "Term Online").

· For unapproved disciplinary terms, refer to the latest Medical Subject Headings (MeSH), the MeSH Annotated Alphabetic List, or the Traditional Chinese Medicine Subject Headings.

· For terms without official translations, provide the original term in parentheses at first appearance.

· Generic names must precede trade names when commercial product names are used.

1.8 Tables and Figures

Tables:

All tables must follow the three-line table format (top line, column header line, and bottom line), including:

· Table number and title

· Column headers

· Table body

· Necessary footnotes

Consistent significant digits are required for all numerical data. Avoid repetitive content between text and tables. Use tables only when content cannot be clearly expressed in text.

Figures:

· Figures must include numbers, titles, and necessary notes, centered below each figure.

· Submit figures in JPG format with a resolution of at least 300 dpi. Hand-drawn figures are not accepted.

· Chinese text in figures should use SimSun font; English text and numbers should use Times New Roman, 8-point font size.

1.9 Numbers

Follow the provisions of GB/T 15835-2011 (General Rules for Writing Numerals in Publications). Use Arabic numerals for centuries, years, months, days, times, counts, and measurements. For numbers with more than three digits before or after the decimal point, group digits in threes with a quarter-space gap (e.g., "1,329.476,5" should be written as "1 329.476 5"). Do not group ordinal numbers, years, page numbers, military unit designations, instrument model numbers, or standard numbers.

For mean ± standard deviation, present as: "(19.8±3.7) mg" or "(30.6±5.1)%". Use a wave dash "~" to indicate numerical ranges (e.g., 2%~8%). For measurements with units, write as: "4 cm × 3 cm × 5 cm" (not "4×3×5 cm").

1.10 Units of Measurement

Follow the provisions of GB 3100/3101/3102-1993 (SI Units and Their Application / General Principles Concerning Quantities, Units and Symbols / Quantities and Units) and refer to the third edition of Application of Legal Units of Measurement in Medicine, published by the Chinese Medical Association Publishing House.

1.11 Statistical Symbols

Follow the provisions of GB 3358.1-2009 (Statistics – Vocabulary and Symbols).

Minimum number of references required:

· Original articles and clinical research: 20–30

· Reviews: 20 or more

· Case reports: 10 or more

2. Funded Projects

If the manuscript is supported by a National Natural Science Foundation of China project or a provincial or ministerial key research project, please indicate this in a footnote at the bottom left of the title page, e.g., "This work was supported by [Foundation Name] (Grant No. XXXXXXX)." Please attach a copy of the funding certificate. The journal will prioritize publication of such manuscripts. If the paper receives an award after publication, please notify the editorial office and provide a copy of the award certificate.

8. Copyright Transfer and Digital Dissemination

Upon acceptance of a manuscript, all authors are required to sign the "Copyright Transfer Agreement", thereby granting the journal the rights of reproduction, distribution, information network dissemination, translation, compilation, and other related rights.

The journal is indexed in major domestic databases. Published articles will also be made available online or through information services via the Internet. The journal pays authors a one-time copyright fee (included in the remuneration, covering print, CD-ROM, and online versions). No part of the published paper may be reprinted elsewhere without the journal's consent.

Note: If authors have any objections to these terms, please indicate so at the time of submission.
